Hi, I'm Carla! I'm an artist based in Portland Oregon, lucky enough to make a living doing what I love.

This show is a reminder to myself to be grateful for the people, places, and things in my life. Making things helps my brain dwell on something positive rather than focusing on the negative.

LOVE MORE / MORE LOVE is a multidisciplinary and multimedia artist whose work is shaped by movement—across cities, cultures, disciplines, and ideas. The exhibition is a love letter to Portland’s neighborhoods, streets, and people—filtered through the perspective of an artist who has spent over three decades immersed in graffiti, street art, and cultural exchange. Having grown up in Las Vegas and spent the last 25 years moving between Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Portland, while also traveling internationally, the artist brings a broad, cross-cultural lens to a city they now call home. At the heart of the show is a single, adaptable word: MORE. More love. More care. More responsibility for the places we live.

Goodshrines is a multimedia artist living in Portland, Oregon. She explores her emotional world through fine lines, patterns, and spiritual symbolism. Her conflicted relationship to Womanhood is a common subject of her work.

Pegacron is a Filipino-American artist based in Portland, OR. He's interested in the humor and pain of the human condition, the natural sciences, and spending time with loved ones. He makes stickers, prints, zines, and shirts based on his absurd cartoon characters, and more recently, birds. Follow his work on Instagram at @pegacron.

I’ve titled this show The Bright Side with the intent that when people come to see it, they hopefully will be able to take a moment or a brief break from their day to day and enjoy a bit of brightness. Making art creates a comfort for me and I want to share that feeling with others.

Hi! I’m Sam and I’m a queer artist who grew up in Minnesota but now live in Oregon. Both places are gray for months at a time, which has lead me to seek and create colorful art. Sometimes I use paint or sequins or prints but the focus is always on exploring color, queerness, humanity and humor.
